New Year traditions
On December 26, 2014, we participated in the Winter Week organized by the Department of Elementary Education with the project "New Year Traditions". 5th and 2nd grade students participated in the project. The second graders performed New Year poems, songs, staged "Welcome to Santa Claus".
The fifth graders presented the New Year customs and traditions typical for different parts of Georgia to the children and attendees.
They were interested in the process of finding information and formatting this information with slides. They especially liked the presentation of their own works.
Class Hour "St. Gabriel Bishop - The True Teacher"
On February 6, 2015, we dedicated a class hour to St. The life and work of Bishop Gabriel. Our gymnasium St. Named after Bishop Gabriel, therefore, the students recalled a lot of familiar information about Sts. About Bishop Gabriel and we learned many new and exciting facts from his life. We read and discussed the story "The True Teacher." The children discussed with great interest and diligence, shared their thoughts with each other, expressed their opinions.
Class hour " Svaneti"
On February 13, 2015, we held a class hour on the topic "Svaneti". This issue aroused great interest among the students, because Svaneti is famous for its nature, buildings, traditions and customs.
Most of the students had seen this angle themselves. They told us about the daily life, the walks, the nature, we found photos, listened to the Svan melody, saw excerpts from the movies and decided to definitely visit this corner together in the future.
"The reign of Tinatin"
Together with the 5th grade students we worked on an excerpt from "Tigerskin" and presented a costume performance at the Georgian Language Week organized by the Georgian Language and Literature.

Celebration of knowledge
The beginning of the new 2017-2018 academic year was celebrated with a celebration at Tskaltubo Theological Gymnasium. The gymnasium was traditionally visited by the rector: Metropolitan Callistratus of Kutaisi-Gaenateli and the city administration.
This day was especially important for the 31 little ones as they were coming to our gymnasium for the first time as students. Nevertheless, we boldly read the poems , listened carefully to the congratulations, and happily embarked on the learning process.


"Alphabet input"
On October 7, 2017, we celebrated the "Advent of the Alphabet" with the first graders. The little ones happily talked about their favorite ia-flower, drew, colored, cut and sculpted a blue-eyed flower. They remembered the familiar and favorite songs and poems created on this topic. Most importantly, they recited the cherished words of the great Jacob: "Here I am" and entered the magical world of knowledge.


Visit to the Puppet Theater
November 10, 2018 was a memorable day for first graders. Traditionally, the Department of Elementary Classes, Sports and Aesthetic Education organized a visit to the Kutaisi Puppet Theater, where we saw the premiere of the children's play "Natsarkekia". For most of the students, this was their first visit to the Puppet Theater. Satisfied, happy, full of inspiration, the little spectators returned home.

We host a circus


Autumn is over ...

On November 17, 2017, we visited the circus in the gymnasium. The funny clowns and magician presented a fun and exciting number to our little ones. Participating in performances especially made the first graders happy. We also took memorable photos.


Autumn is over ...
The first graders said goodbye to autumn from our gymnasium with a very interesting and beautiful event. On November 18, 2018, we organized a fall corner, presented fun dances, songs, read poems about autumn to the audience. Of course, we also took some memorable photos.



Mother's Day at the Children's Library



Feature Reading Competition at the Children's Library
On May 6, 2018, an event dedicated to the Georgian language was held at the City Children's Library. Students of different schools in Tskaltubo shared the works of famous or unknown writers with interest and excitement. An experienced jury even appreciated their diligence and talent. Students of 5th and 6th grades of Tskaltubo Theological Gymnasium interestingly presented their abilities in this regard.



"The Story of Shvli Nukri" - Judgment
"The Story of Shvli Nukri" - Judgment - was the title given to the 5th grade students at the Tskaltubo Children's Library on May 25, 2018. The feelings and behaviors of each character in the work were interestingly covered. The students enjoyed the roles of judge, defense counsel and other public figures. They discussed the reasons and consequences of the behavior of the characters in the work, made important conclusions, which I hope will definitely be taken into account in life. Deserved great applause from the attending public.


A fun excursion
At the end of the school year I visited the sights of Kutaisi and Tskaltubo together with the students of my tutoring class and their parents. We took lots of memorable photos, played, sang and even danced. The students cheered us up and made us happy all day long. Friendly relationships deepened even more between children or their parents.

"Here Ia, here is our mother tongue"
We crowned the end of the school year with an alphabetical celebration: "Ai ia, ai, our mother tongue", in which, in addition to first graders, 6th grade students also participated.




Start of the 2018-2019 academic year
We started the new school year with great attitude and diligence. The beginning of the school year was traditionally congratulated by Reverend Callistratus and the city leadership. The first graders showed their abilities, we received a lot of congratulations and filled with pleasant expectations we started to study.

We have presented the project "For St. George" with the participation of the 6th grade students of St. Gabriel Bishop Tskaltubo Theological Gymnasium in the city children's library.

On April 10, 2019, we saw the play "Chinchraka" at the Lado Meskhishvili Theater in Kutaisi. The students returned from the theater full of impressions.

On April 18, 2019, we conducted the project "Under the Mushroom" in the 2nd grade. The students made their own decorations, invitation cards, posters for the play, and dolls.
Our Little Red Riding Hood was happy to invite guests to attend the performance. The play came out interesting. The little actors were especially happy.

We also finished the second grade. Today my swallows shared the knowledge of Georgian words. We identified and rewarded small and noisy "Georgians", and sent the words accumulated in our "word box" as messages to the "man of the word".
"Golden Autumn"
Grade 3a and B students presented an exciting event dedicated to the fall. The little ones created a pleasant mood for the audience with poems, songs, dances and sketches dedicated to autumn. The autumn mood was also enhanced by the autumn decorated hall.
